So I'm there on my graveyard shift doing yesterday's crossword and the phone rings. Turns out some of our girl scouts are off in the woods near Douglas Ridge trying to earn their bird study badges when they stumble across what they think is a dead body!! I race over there to cordon off the area, and my heart sinks when i see that it's Shelley Antoin. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to say to her mother when I realize Shelley is breathing, so I try to wake her up and she mumbles "the criminal underground is alive". Just that, over and over again. Herb turns up with the medical unit and we get Shelley to the hospital. She's still in a coma right now but the doctors are optimistic that she'll make a full recovery. I just can't get those words out of my head though! "The criminal underground is alive." I'm convinced it's a clue or a code or something. If Shelley is alive then that means those other girls might be too, and this could be the key to finding them! Of course Herb thinks it's just random nonsense and I'm being a silly goose, but I knew you'd believe me. I don't know what it is about you Rupert, but you seem to have a knack for this spooky stuff. Speaking to Deputy Wilson, she seemed to think it would be worth my time looking into Jeffrey Jensen. He runs the Girl Scouts' lodge, and for a while now Wilson has suspected he's using it to launder money. Jensen is the head of the Neighborhood Watch, so he's definitely in the know. He's also chief editor at [[The Stawk Daily|https://www.facebook.com/thestawkdaily]], so it's probably worth having a read of today's paper. If you need it, the number for the switchboard is +612 6422 0046. Leave no stone unturned and all that. I've found a new therapist by the way, really nice guy. Making a lot of progress. He seemed to think this case was bad for me though. I'm sure he means well but there's no way I'm walking away from this one. We should also address the elephant in the room... I haven't heard a peep from my old client since last year. I can't help but wonder what they stood to gain, leading me to the grave of a long-dead woman. Gladwell will be administering the day to day operations of our delivery business, while you will be left in charge of keeping everything in Stawk Pine Falls running smoothly. Though the sheriff's department is a non-issue, keep an eye on that detective that recently showed up in town. He’s been spotted around a few of our drop sites, and the boss thinks he may know more than he lets on. When the chosen returns, make sure there's a room prepared for her to stay in. During the boss’s recovery there will be certain essentials that must be kept on hand at all times. At bare minimum she will require plenty of Codeine based medication for pain relief, preferably in strawberry flavour, and a ouija board for her to spell out her orders with. While the boss is temporarily unavailable to open the passage to the House, she has unsealed the route through the labyrinth. Make sure you have the correct directions before you enter the labyrinth, it is extremely difficult to find your way out once inside. Finally, the boss wants to make it clear to all members of our organization that while you may come and go from the House while transporting shipments of the product, if anyone gets the bright idea to lay a finger on one of her girls while she is gone, they will be burned alive. She'd sewn herself a self-appointed detective badge and had a few case notes of her own. Clementine mentioned seeing another woman on the path to Douglas Ridge, said it wasn't anyone she knew. This could be something. She also said this wasn't the first time Miss Antoin had shown up in the woods. Which got me thinking, those case files I gave you feel a little inadequate if we ever want to get to the bottom of this thing. Could you do a little digging? We need to learn as much about those missing women as we can. Or anyone else in town for that matter. How did you go investigating Jeffrey Jensen? Apparently the place used to belong to a baker, and this woman had just recently inherited it. Long story short, she agreed to be interviewed.
